Yet another “No car available even though it was reserved” story from National Car Rental at Orlando, Florida.
What is it with the Orlando location? What is it about the word “Reserved” that National doesn’t understand? It should be very simple – but apparently it is very difficult…
Yet another Florida vacation ruined.

OH MY – I cannot agree more
I had a problem with National over 4 years ago and cannot straighten it out.

And it was Florida
They were rude – lied – and then blamed me

I had to laugh when I came across this site. I had just posted about my nasty experience with National here in Toronto on my own blog (philipsullivan.blogspot.com). I did a search for other blogs with “National Car Rental” and came across this Hall of Horrors.
Good for you!
Man, I will NEVER rent from National. I have had good experiences with Budget, Enterprise and Discount, though their hours on weekends seem absurd for the leisure renter. National, however, has the worst customer service. Brutal.
National Car rental is an international disaster!

You’re definitely right! It’s almost free! That really a great deal. How much do you have for a week rental of a chevy aveo? I am very much interested. Thank you and more power to you!

Renting a car can give you freedom and flexibility when you’re traveling, and in some parts of the world it’s the only feasible way to get around.

When you are traveling in a large group, it is always better to go for a Minibus hire. It is much suited for schools and organizations on picnics.

Think carefully about what kind of vehicle you’ll need. If you’re traveling with children or with a lot of gear, you may want a large sedan or SUV. If you’re simply looking to save money on rental rates and gas, you’ll want to reserve the smallest available model.
