Welcome to National Car Rental Horrors – a website where National’s customers (mostly former customers) tell their tales of abuse, ruined vacations, over-charging, filthy vehicles and thefts by employees of National Car Rental.
We are the abused, the ripped off, the ignored and the used. We are the disposable customers of National Car Rental – and we are many.
Frankly, we wish that we had not felt the need to create the National Car Rental Horrors website, but as you can see by reading the stories, there is something terribly wrong with National Car Rental (and sister company Alamo) of late.
This website is also a database: searchable by incident type, date and National Car Rental location. As it grows, it will serve to alert potential customers of specific high-risk National Car Rental locations and the methods of obtaining justice from National when the inevitable occurs.

I recently left my house keys together with the car keys in the car I was returning at the Fort Lauderdale location. I reported it the next day but haven’t had anyone from National contact me. Does anyone know the coporate office’s phone number. I know they are located in Tulsa, OK.
